Project Manager, Hill Samuel Bank, 1990 to 1993

Provided IT Services to Hill Samuel’s network of branches, supplying a full range of banking services to commercial and high net worth customers.

Re-focused the support team and reduced the outstanding system amendments from over 300 to less than 40

Designed and implemented a bad debt tracking database which controlled authorisation of, and reported upon provisions Conceived, proposed to HS Directors and implemented a Client/Server database to provide improved management control and information within the HS Branches. The system used PowerBuilder and SQL Server, and was the first Client/Server system at Hill Samuel.

When the restructuring of Hill Samuel was announced, Ed managed the automated account transfer and closure of 12 HS Branches in preparation for their transfer to the TSB Banking Services Division.
