Developed a Technical Strategy for Euler International. A new
type of business for the Euler Group, International, was
experiencing system problems after its start up. I addressed a
combination of short-term problems with tactical system in the
UK and mainframe system based in Brussels. I developed a medium
term strategy intended to improve systems flexibility and
minimising dependence on remote legacy systems.
Managed the Rollout of Windows NT within the UK: Ed Took over
technical management of the Rollout after it had come to a halt
through technical and business problems. Reorganised and
transformed the team into an effective unit. We redesigned the
desktop and user environment, introduced proper change
management, reorganised application testing and installation
procedures then completed the rollout to the Head Office and
Branches.
Initiation of International Systems Project. I represented
Euler TI in the initiation phase of a three nation project, lead
by the French, to replace all EULER systems with a single,
common one. Worked closely with the core team members to form a
structure, define objectives and plan the early stages of the
project.
Managed the implemented the project office in Brussels,
setting up infrastructure for the project team.
Business Analysis and Project Management: Turned around a
failing Recoveries Workflow project by resolving problems with a
third party supplier, re-defining the requirements then
negotiating and managing a fixed price package of corrective
work.
