Trained as an engineer, Ed moved into Information Technology in an assignment at Engineering Surveys Ltd where he managed a team re-writing a land survey data processing and plotting suite.

He then moved into the Finance industry at Hill Samuel Bank, getting a sound foundation in project and general management while running an application support and development team.

His career has progressed through a series of assignments in blue chip financial organisations as well as working in smaller organisations including Inova in which he and his partner Warren Kay delivered leading edge Web applications to the Police, Finance and Commercial sectors.

He has a wife and young family and still finds time to practice his life-long passion of competitive gliding with some success and National and International level
